INTENDED USE
Endo LES agar (also m-Endo agar) is a selective plate for the detection of coliform bacteria in water samples. The selective plate prevents the growth of gram-positive bacteria, while coliforms are stained red and metallic on the plate. The product is a ready-to-use plate for professional use.

MAIN PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT
Endo LES is a selective agar plate. Sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium deoxycholate prevent the growth of gram-positive bacteria. Casein and peptone form the nutritious base of the plate. Yeast extract acts as a source of B vitamins, which are important for bacterial growth. Pararosaniline stains coliform colonies red with a metallic sheen, making it possible to distinguish them from other colonies.

Enterococcus agar plate (also Slanetz & Bartley agar) is a selective plate for the detection of enterococci and streptococci of intestinal origin. The plate is especially suitable for food and environmental analysis. The product is a ready-to-use plate for professional use.

MAIN PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT
Enterococcus agar is a selective plate. The product’s selectivity is based on sodium azide, which inhibits the growth of gram-negative bacteria. Tryptose and glucose form the nutrient-dense base of the plate. Yeast extract acts as a source of B vitamins, which are important for bacterial growth, among other things. Tetrazolium chloride (TTC) acts as an indicator of Enterococcus bacterial growth, staining the colonies red.

INTENDED USE
Pseudomonas agar plate (CN) is intended for Pseudomonas aeruginosa detection and enumeration. The selectivity of the plate is based on cetrimide and nalidixic acid. P. aeruginosa produces a green pigment and fluorescein on the agar, making it easier to differentiate from other Pseudomonas strains. Pseudomonas agar plate is suitable, for example, for research use and for analysis of food and environmental samples. The product is a ready-to-use plate for professional use.

MAIN PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT
Pseudomonas agar is a selective plate. The product’s selectivity is based on broad-spectrum cetrimide and nalidixic acid, which inhibit, among others, Klebsiella, Proteus and Providencia spp. growth. The nutrient-rich base of the plate is made up of gelatin-derived peptones and casein. Magnesium chloride and potassium sulfate have been added to the plate to support Pseudomonas aeruginosa pyocyanin pigment formation. The pigment is also strengthened by glycerol, which acts as an energy source in the agar.

Rose-Bengal/Hagem agar plate is intended for growing and enumerating yeasts and molds from environmental samples. The product is especially suitable for fast-growing fungi, due to its ingredients that slow down fungal growth and thus ease the enumeration of colonies. The pH of the plate is low (pH ≈ 5.2). The product is a ready-to-use plate for professional use.

MAIN PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT
RBH is a selective and nutritious agar plate. The product’s selectivity is based on streptomycin, which inhibits the growth of bacteria, a low pH value and rose bengal dye. Rose bengal prevents the growth of bacteria and limits the spread of fast-growing molds on the plate. Malt extract and dextrose provide fermentable carbohydrates to support fungal growth.
